BuzzFeed Launches BuzzFeed Video App on iOS, Android

BuzzFeed has launched its BuzzFeed Video app on iOS and Android, allowing users to view its video content in one place. The app features BuzzFeed’s trending videos in a feed, and also allows users to browse content from individual shows, including Violet, Broke, Tasty and more.

Videos play automatically as users scroll through the trending feed, or view a show’s individual page. However, these videos are muted by default, so users can manually turn on the volume when they find content they’d like to watch.

Once the volume is turned on, it remains on as users scroll through the current feed, or browse other video feeds, but can be turned off by tapping the mute button.

Users can subscribe to individual shows to receive notifications when new episodes are added, and can share videos with friends.

The BuzzFeed Video app is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
