Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released Pac-Man Puzzle Tour on iOS and Android. The match-three puzzle game challenges players to help Pac-Man recover the world’s fruit, which has been stolen by Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde, along with new ghosts, like the Crystal Ghost and Glue Ghost.
In Pac-Man Puzzle Tour, players clear fruit symbols from the board by creating lines of three or more matching fruit. When players create matches of four or more fruit, or matches in special T or L shapes, they create special symbols capable of clearing multiple fruit from the board when used in a future match.
Each level of Pac-Man Puzzle Tour offers a different challenge to complete, like earning a large number of points, or clearing hidden ghosts from the board by making matches on top of specific squares, as examples.
Similar to many other match-three games, Pac-Man Puzzle Tour includes a lives system, and players lose a life each time they fail a stage. These lives recharge automatically over time, and can be purchased instantly with coins, the game’s premium currency. Users can also ask their friends to send them free lives.
As players progress, they’ll unlock power-ups which may help them complete stages. For instance, one may give players five extra moves during a level.
