Square Enix Montreal Previews Puzzle Maker Feature Coming to Deus Ex GO

Square Enix Montreal previewed a new update coming to Deus Ex GO later this week. The update will add a Puzzle Maker tool to the turn-based puzzle game, which will allow users to create their own puzzles and share them with other players around the world.

In Deus Ex GO, players become agent Adam Jensen, and they must use hacking, combat and more to complete puzzles.

The game’s Puzzle Maker update will launch Thursday, Nov. 24. The feature will allow users to create puzzles that contain a variety of enemy and node types, and the game will provide new players with blueprints to help them create puzzles.

After users publish their puzzles, they will receive rewards over time, and the best creations will be featured in the game’s Daily Challenge mode for all players to complete.

In a release, Square Enix Montreal said the game’s community-created content will be “curated by the players’ play data.”

The release reads:

The Puzzle Maker provides a whole new way to appreciate the GO series from another perspective, as well as community-generated content, curated by the players’ play data. The Square Enix Montreal team created an algorithm to make sure that players always receive suggestions for content of the highest quality.

Deus Ex GO is available to download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. From Nov. 24 through Dec. 1, the game will be on sale for $1.99.
