Clemson University defeated the University of Alabama Monday night to win college football’s National Championship, and not surprisingly, the game-winning touchdown was the biggest moment on Twitter.
The three top moments during Monday night’s game, in terms of tweets per minute, were:
- DeShaun Watson throws a touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow with one second remaining to give Clemson a 35-31 lead over Alabama.
- Clemson wins the National Championship for the first time since 1981.
- Jalen Hurts runs for a 30-yard touchdown to give Alabama a 31-28 lead with 2:07 remaining.
