Google launched an update for Google Voice on iOS, Android and the web. The update changed the application’s interface and also introduced new features.
With this update, the app’s inbox is now split into separate tabs for text messages, calls and voicemails. In the Messages tab, conversations are organized into separate threads for each contact or group.
Elsewhere, this update adds support for group and photo MMS, as well as the ability to send replies from within notifications. Finally, in a blog post, Google said it’s “starting to introduce voicemail transcription for Spanish and will improve accuracy over time.”
This update is now rolling out to Google Voice users on iOS, Android and the web. Google said the update should be available to all users “in the coming weeks,” adding that it will update the app with new features going forward.
