Twitter Temporarily Thwarted in Effort to Release More Details on Government Information Requests

Twitter’s efforts to be allowed to publicly disclose more details about U.S. government requests for user information hit a temporary roadblock.

Reuters reported that U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in Oakland, Calif., partially dismissed a lawsuit by Twitter.

However, she also ruled that Twitter can refile its lawsuit with further details about government decision-making.
