Adobe Spark Visual Content Creation Platform Launches on Web, Mobile

Adobe officially launched its Adobe Spark platform, which is comprised of a web application and three previously released iOS companion apps. The Adobe Spark platform helps users create visual content for sharing on multiple platforms.

The Adobe Spark web app allows users to create social posts and images, as well as web stories and animated videos, in a single place. The platform’s three mobile apps—Spark Post, Spark Page and Spark Video—each offer one of these creation tools for users on iOS.

Spark Post (previously Adobe Post) can be used to create social posts and graphics, while Spark Page (previously Adobe Slate) allows users to create Web stories. Finally, Spark Video (previously Adobe Voice) allows users to make videos. Users can login with an Adobe ID, Google or Facebook account to sync their content between devices.

All three apps have received new icons and new features as part of the launch of the Adobe Spark platform. For instance, Spark Page users now have access to two new Web themes, Storybook and Trek, while Spark Video users can now sign in with Google and add photos from Google Photos to their videos.

In a statement, Bryan Lamkin, executive vice president and general manager of digital media at Adobe, commented:

Today, anyone can create content and share it via social media, but most people lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter. With Adobe Spark, anyone can create authentic, professional-looking visual content for their project, passion, cause or business.

The updated Spark Post, Spark Page and Spark Video apps are available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
