ClipCall Connects Users With Service Professionals Through Video

ClipCall has announced the official public launch of its app on iOS and Android. The video home repair app allows users to record videos of their household issues, and chat with licensed service professionals near them.

Before creating a video with ClipCall, users type a brief description of their requirement, like ‘plumber’ or ‘tile contractor,’ as examples. The app gives users tips for creating their video, depending on their needs. For instance, when looking for a mover, users are encouraged to highlight any hard-to-move items and show their home’s stairs, where applicable.

As users post videos, service professionals can give estimates for the projects they’re available to complete, and consumers can select the professional they’d like to hire based on their ratings and reviews from platforms like Yelp and Google. Users can also post hearts to a professional’s profile within the app, which serve as an in-app rating.

The app allows consumers to chat with professionals, and logs the chats for each project.

In a statement, Daniel Shaked, founder and CEO of ClipCall, commented:

Today we see the ease and efficiency that has been brought to so many industries. With the rise in mobile applications, why shouldn’t this convenience be applied to traditional services?

In order to make the process of hiring and managing a household project as effective as possible for both consumer and professional, we have developed a closed platform that makes communication swifter, reduces unneeded friction and makes the lives of people and service professionals much more efficient and enjoyable. The video guide makes a significant difference in how consumers explain what they need and how professionals retain the information. The remote service call can save both sides incredible amounts of time and uncertainty.

ClipCall is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
