Zynga’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Slots Launches on Facebook, Mobile

Social and mobile game company Zynga has announced the launch of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Slots on Facebook and mobile.

The slot machine game is the first licensed game from Zynga’s multi-year agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and features slot machines based on scenes from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The game includes sounds, character voices and artwork from the movie.

To begin, players have access to the ‘Candy Man Can’ slot machine, and will unlock additional machines as they level up. While playing, gamers can choose from different wager amounts, and will earn experience points with every spin. Auto-spin is also available.

While Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory Slots offers nine main slot machines at launch (with more coming in the future), a separate ‘High Roller World’ of machines becomes available to players once they accumulate 24 million credits. While gamers can purchase additional credits with real money, the game also rewards players with free credits over time, so they can keep playing if they run out.

Finally, players can unlock additional machines in the game’s VIP World. Players earn VIP Points when they make purchases in the game, and need to reach the ‘Gold’ VIP level to unlock the first of these special machines.
