VentureBeat reported, via the @iOSAppChanges Twitter account, that some Messenger users with iOS version 68.0 are seeing the disappearing messages option.
According to VentureBeat, users with access to the feature can choose how long their messages will remain visible, and they are seeing the following message in their chat windows (with 15 minutes as an example):
You turned on disappearing messages. New messages will disappear from this conversation 15 minutes after being sent.
