Sploops Video Forum for Sports Fans Launches on iOS

Sploops has announced the official launch of its platform on iOS. The video forum for sports fans allows users to share 15 second videos containing their sports-related thoughts, or rants, with others.

With Sploops, users can create a profile and select their favorite teams to customize their experience. The app allows users to follow individual NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL teams, as well as overall categories for sports like soccer, NASCAR and others. As users follow teams or sports, the ‘My Teams’ video feed allows users to watch rants relating to their favorites.

Elsewhere, uses can browse feeds for the app’s newest and most popular content, as well as a ‘following’ feed featuring content from users they follow. Users can comment on posts, and give them up or down ratings.

To post their own rants, users can record videos or upload them from their camera roll. Users can write captions for their videos, and tag them with one or more related teams or sports.

In addition to video rants, users can create polls to see how others feel about specific topics.

Sploops co-founder, Paul Rosa, told SocialTimes:

Sploops is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store. The app is coming soon to Android.
