Mobile Game Roundup: Brick Rage, Frenzy Ball and More

Are you looking for a new mobile game to try this weekend? As usual, there are plenty of new options for you to try, including Clash Royale, the latest game from Clash of Clans developer Supercell. The one-on-one real-time multiplayer strategy game challenges players to destroy their enemy’s towers while protecting their own.

Are you looking for a different game to play? Here’s a look at some of the additional games which released this week.

Brick Rage (Free on iOS, Android) – From SoulGame Entertainment, this endless survival game challenges players to tap or swipe to shoot bricks at brick formations which are falling from the top of the screen. Players can remove bricks by creating complete horizontal lines of bricks on the screen. Each game ends when the bricks reach the bottom of the screen. Players can collect coins as they play, and spend these coins on new toys in the game’s store. Toys add different visual effects to the game while playing.
Bumper Jump (Free on iOS) – This endless jumper from Gnarcade challenges players to help an alien bounce as high as possible in an attempt to catch a UFO. Players tap on the screen to create the bounce pads the alien needs to bounce on to move up the screen, and must watch out for planets, which serve as obstacles in the path. Gamers earn currency for every ‘bounce’ they successfully complete in each game, and can spend these bounces on new playable characters.
Treasure of Empire (Free on iOS) – This level-based puzzle game from Kronet Games asks players to move a rotating block around a board with the goal of moving the block onto the finish square with the block’s gem pointing up. Levels become more complicated as players progress, with the introduction of pistons, broken squares and more. Gamers collect gems as they complete levels, and can spend these on power-ups. One power-up, for instance, shows players the correct steps for completing the current level.
Super Circle Jump (Free on iOS, Android) – This endless survival game from developer Wolfgang Knecht (also known as pixelclash) challenges players to shoot a white dot between rotating circles. These circles disappear after a set number of rotations, so players must shoot the dot to the next circle before their current circle disappears. Games end when players allow the current circle to disappear, or shoot the dot off of the screen.
Hoodrip Skateboarding (Free on iOS, Android) – From ArcticPlay Studios, and created in cooperation with TransWorld SKATEboarding, this skateboarding game takes players to over 30 skate spots around Brooklyn, and allows players to learn over 30 skateboarding tricks and endless manual, grind and trick combos. Players can customize their avatar with different clothing, wheels and more. As gamers play, they’ll have the chance to win real-world clothes and accessories as prizes.
Frenzy Ball (Free on iOS, Android) – From Planet of the Apps, this brick-breaking game asks players to tap and hold on the left and right sides of the screen to move paddles around the screen’s perimeter, with the goal of keeping a ball bouncing around the stage. The ball may bounce off of bricks as it moves around the screen, and if it hits special bricks, the ball may increase in size, multiple balls may appear, and so on.

In addition to these new releases, Touch Dimensions has release Wizards & Wagons for $4.99 on Android, after previously releasing the game on iOS.
