Pinterest announced that Instapaper Premium is now available to all users for free. The Instapaper application allows users to save web content to read later on, even when they’re offline. Pinterest acquired Instapaper in August.
With this change, Pinterest said that all Instapaper users will have access to the following features:
- Full-text search for all articles
- Unlimited notes
- Unlimited speed reading
- Text-to-speech playlists
- “Send to Kindle” via bookmarklet and mobile apps
- Kindle Digests of up to 50 articles
- An ad-free Instapaper website
Previously, the app’s premium features were available via a subscription price of $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Pinterest said that existing Instapaper subscribers “will receive a prorated refund in the coming weeks.”
Instapaper is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
