Facebook quietly added the ability to save videos for later viewing to its flagship Android application.
Michael Crider of Android Police reported on the feature Sunday, following a tip from a reader, and Mix of The Next Web added that the feature was slated to roll out in India with the goal of helping users with poor internet connectivity, citing a Bloomberg report.
Users with version 85 or beta version 86 of the app can select “save video” from the drop-down menus on videos in their News Feeds, and those videos will appear in their Saved directories.
Readers: Would you like to see Facebook roll this feature out globally?
