Hasbro, Backflip Studios and Space Ape Games released Transformers: Earth Wars on mobile. Inspired by Hasbro’s Transformers Generations Prime Wars Trilogy, the base-building combat game allows players to support either the Autobots or the Decepticons in a battle for Earth.
In Transformers: Earth Wars, players will build and upgrade their bases by collecting and spending two key resources: Energon and Alloy. Users can produce these resources on their bases over time, and they can also earn additional resources by destroying enemy bases in battle. The game offers both story-based and multiplayer battles.
During battles, players can deploy their Transformers onto the battlefield, and they will automatically attack enemy structures and Transformers. As battles progress, users collect energy that can be used to activate their units’ transformations and special abilities. For instance, Jetfire can transform into a jet and launch an air strike on a chosen structure.
Transformers will level up as they’re used in battles, and will become stronger over time. In addition, as players progress, they’ll collect Crystals that can be used to recruit new Transformers for their team. Users can also purchase additional Crystals in the game’s store.
Transformers: Earth Wars offers players an engaging storyline and incredible gameplay experience. The game harnesses the unique strengths and abilities of hundreds of characters from Transformers lore, which really helps it to stand above existing real-time combat strategy games and delivers on the Transformers promise of “more than meets the eye.”
Transformers: Earth Wars is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. The game is available worldwide, excluding Japan and China.
