Google Adds ‘I’m Feeling Curious’ Button to 3D Touch Shortcuts on iOS

Google has released the latest update for it iOS app, introducing a new 3D Touch shortcut for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users. Now, when those users hard press on the app’s icon on their home screen, they can select the ‘I’m Feeling Curious’ option to launch the app and view a random question and answer from around the Internet.

Questions cover a variety of topics, like geography and science, among others. For instance, users may receive the question ‘When was the first commercial jet flight,’ followed by a brief answer. As pointed out by TechCrunch, the feature can almost be used as a game, if users read questions to friends to test their knowledge.

Once they’ve received an answer, users can tap the ‘Ask Another Question’ button to receive another random question and answer. Users can also visit the site which provided each answer (like Wikipedia, for instance).

The Google app is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store. The ‘I’m Feeling Curious’ button joins the app’s existing 3D Touch shortcuts: Quick Search, Voice Search and Image Search.
