Mobile game company Storm8 released Dream City: Metropolis on mobile. The city-building game allows users to build homes, shops, factories and more in their towns as they complete quests.
In Dream City: Metropolis, players can build homes and ‘civic buildings’ (like a park or post office) to add citizens to their towns. Users can also build shops in their towns, and they can upgrade these shops by crafting the required upgrade materials in the game’s factories.
Many crafting recipes require Goods to create, and players can order Goods at the city’s train station. Goods can be ordered in different quantities, and these orders take time to deliver. Users can speed up order delivery timers using premium currency.
As users upgrade their shops, they’ll collect stars that can be used to upgrade their city halls. These city hall upgrades also require users to reach certain population milestones. Each time players upgrade their city halls, they will unlock new buildings they can construct in their towns.
In addition, as players master their shops (that is, finish all of their upgrades), they’ll be able to collect profits from these mastered shops over time at their city halls. Users will need to master their shops to earn permits allowing them to build additional shops in their towns.
Finally, Storm8 partnered with Regal Cinemas, which will allow players to build their own Regal theaters in their towns.
Dream City: Metropolis is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
