Facebook’s ever-expanding array of ad-targeting options give advertisers valuable tools, but they can also be overwhelming.
Digital agency WordStream prepared the infographic below, which provides details on all of the social network’s ad-targeting options in one place.
WordStream wrote in a blog post accompanying the infographic:
There is an appropriate time and place for these targeted ads—before you address the many, many choices on targeting, make a plan. When you can get this granular, you can get carried away and the next thing you know, your campaign is targeting new grandmothers who are interested in weight training and animal rights, just celebrated a birthday, own vacation timeshares and are currently shopping for homes in Waltham, Mass. Even though you can be so specific, ask: Should your marketing strategy include it, and how?
